Emirates SkyCargo partners with Gargash to transport Alfa Romeos for celebrity motor rally

Cars flown to London to mark Dubai based Gargash’s 100th anniversary Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates, and Gargash, one of the largest distributors of premium and luxury cars in the UAE, have partnered to transport two Alfa Romeos from Dubai to London for the prestigious Gumball 3000 motor rally. The two cars, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio and an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio were transported onboard an Emirates SkyCargo Boeing 777 freighter from Dubai to London. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has called for economic regulation of airports in Australia to be strengthened.   “At a time when we have an infrastructure crisis globally, Australia has a good story to tell. The plans for a new airport at Badgerys Creek are encouraging, as are efforts for cooperation between civil and military authorities to more efficiently use airspace.  But we need to take a serious look at airport charges. Passenger Demand Accelerates in March, Load Factor Sets Another Record

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced global passenger traffic results for March 2018 showing that demand (measured in revenue passenger kilometers, or RPKs) rose 9.5%, compared to the same month a year ago, the fastest pace in 12 months. Capacity (available seat kilometers, or ASKs) grew 6.4% and load factor climbed 2.3 percentage points to 82.4%, which set a record for the month, following on the record set in February.
