Etihad Airways has offered its heartfelt congratulations to Emiratis, Hazza Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Nayadi, who have been selected as the first Arab Nationals to visit the International Space Station. Hazza and Sultan were chosen ahead of more than 4,000 candidates for the landmark mission to the habitable satellite hovering above earth. The Emirati pair conducted extensive medical examinations performed by specialists at the Etihad Aeromedical Centre in June as part of their selection process. Lufthansa Group increased its total first half-year revenues by 5.2 percent in 2018, excluding the impact of the first-time application of the IFRS 15 accounting standard. Reported total first half-year revenues amounted to EUR 16.9 billion, broadly in line with the prior-year level. Cars flown to London to mark Dubai based Gargash’s 100th anniversary Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates, and Gargash, one of the largest distributors of premium and luxury cars in the UAE, have partnered to transport two Alfa Romeos from Dubai to London for the prestigious Gumball 3000 motor rally. DC Aviation Al-Futtaim expands managed aircraft fleet
