Being obsessed with all things aviation, we are delighted to feature in this issue Captain Raman Oberoi, Chief Operating Officer of Falcon Aviation Services who joined Falcon Aviation in 2014.
Located Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport, Falcon Aviation Services is a leading business aviation services company formed under the initiative of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates.
Falcon Aviation has been established for over twelve years, during which time the company has built an unrivalled reputation for its VIP Charter and support to the Governments Oil and Gas Sector.
Captain Raman mentions that with a new and diversified fleet of luxurious corporate jets and helicopters, Falcon offers a multitude ofBusiness and General Aviation Services including, Business Jet/VIP Helicopter Charter, FBO Services, Aircraft Management and comprehensive MRO Support including Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance and CAMO.

According to Captain Raman, clients of Falcon Aviation include ADNOC, TOTAL ABK, Kuwait Oil Company, NMDC, Alpha Tours, Qazaq Air and Lulu Group who rely on Falcon’s highly skilled professional team to ensure all aspects of a customer’s experience is of the highest standard.
Captain Raman mentions that in 2020, Falcon Aviation’s target is to reach total revenues of AED 500 Million.He adds, “We had strategic plan to grow into areas of our core competence that is Oil & Gas Aviation support. We have succeeded into growing this business outside UAE as well by starting Oil & Gas operations in Kuwait for KOC.”

Current projects include formally opening at the Dubai Airshow 2019 Falcon’s new MRO Hangar for business jets at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South. The newly built hangar on over 24,000-sqm land, includes workshops, wash bay and landside office space with an additional 13,000 sqm of apron, providing plenty of aircraft parking spaces. The new facility complements Falcon Aviation’s VIP FBO at Dubai South and heliport also run and managed by Falcon under its AOC.
Captain Raman mentions that the Aviation sector is the key sector which has contributed to the GDP growth of UAE. As far as Dubai GDP is concerned 27% of it is contributed by Aviation. Even in Abu Dhabi, there are efforts from the government to increase the Aviation sector’s contribution in the GDP growth. Falcon aviation plays a key role to achieve these goals.
